Pharmaceutics Professor

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Responsibilities:

• Teach and mentor students in various areas of pharmaceutics, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and dosage form design.
• Develop and conduct research in pharmaceutics, with a focus on obtaining extramural funding and publishing original research manuscripts.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional organization activities.

Requirements:

• PharmD/Ph.D. or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Sciences, or equivalent degree/specialization.
• Three years of postdoctoral teaching/research experience and mentoring experience.
• Ability to develop an independent research program and procure extramural funding.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in federal funding from NIH or NSF.
