Job Summary

The Survey Crew Chief is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a field survey crew. This position requires a high level of expertise in surveying and mapping, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of surveyors in the field, ensuring accurate and timely completion of projects
  • Interpret complex survey data and provide expert analysis to inform project decisions
  • Develop and implement effective survey strategies to meet project goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in surveying and mapping
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a surveying or mapping role, with a strong background in leadership and team management
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, including trigonometry and algebra
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and geographic information systems (GIS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
