About the Painting Position

We have an opening for a skilled Painter to work in a manufacturing environment with a focus on wet spray painting operations.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Should be able to verify accuracy, quality, and quantity of incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
  • Have experience operating paint guns and utilizing wet paint systems.
  • Be able to promptly and accurately identify, locate, and process materials for job orders.

The Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for verifying accuracy, quality, and quantity of incoming and outgoing parts and materials, maintaining and replenishing supplies and equipment, and ensuring order. They will also be required to operate paint guns and utilize wet paint systems, prep to paint by cleaning, taping, scraping, patching, sanding, and other measures as needed, and safely dispose of chemical waste.

The Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Technical education is a plus.
  • Computer literacy.
  • An ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 40 pounds.

Bonus Points:

  • 1+ year of experience in wet and powder paint.
  • Experience in auto-body paint.
  • An ability to communicate with others and work independently.
  • Strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and initiative to learn processes.
