Job Summary

Touro University New York is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Assistant Professor to teach courses in Social, Behavioral, and Administrative Sciences at the Touro Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in all areas of Social, Behavioral, and Administrative Sciences and a strong commitment to teaching and student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Teach a minimum of one professional level course, developing and delivering engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Course Preparation: Prepare course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts, to support student learning.
  • Student Support: Provide prompt and accurate recording and reporting of student data, and support students in achieving their learning goals by focusing on student learning outcomes, taking into account the needs and abilities of students, and making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences.
  • Qualifications: A Doctor of Pharmacy degree, PharmD and State appropriate professional licensure, and a minimum of 1 year of experience post-graduate are required. A Residency or Fellowship is preferred.
Requirements
  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy degree
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience post-graduate
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, strong writing skills, ability to be organized and have attention to detail, ability to prioritize workload, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
Working Conditions
  • Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
Compensation

Maximum Salary: USD $150.00/Hr.

Minimum Salary: USD $100.00/Hr.
