Experienced Financial Accountant

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the Controller and gain significant exposure to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare precise and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with established schedules and team inputs.
2. Manage comprehensive accounting functions, including general journal entries, accruals, account analysis, and reconciliations.
3. Oversee cost accounting activities such as cycle count audits, standard cost roll processes, and inventory management.
4. Generate flash reports, quarterly profit and loss statements, balance sheet forecasts, and annual financial plans.
5. Support corporate internal audits and contribute to process enhancement initiatives.
6. Assist in the formulation of internal financial policies and procedures and aid in the coordination of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
7. Conduct complex financial analysis and reporting, supporting the Controller with special projects.
8. Maintain well-documented work papers and ensure adherence to effective internal control guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis, particularly within a manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in GAAP, cost accounting, and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Hyperion, IFS, and/or SmartView is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively engage with all management levels.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $90k-110k based on experience.
- 401k plan with immediate vesting and generous matching contributions.
- 3% Profit Sharing.
