Responsibilities
  • Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal, to address clients' specific needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all equipment and supplies are sanitized and in good working condition.
  • Conduct client consultations to determine their specific concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan.
  • Keep accurate records of client information, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide self-care tips for at-home maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients.
  • Continuously expand knowledge and skills through attending workshops, seminars, and other educational opportunities.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • Valid state license to practice massage therapy.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a massage therapist.
  • Proficient in various massage techniques and modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Professional and empathetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records preferred.
