The Role

We are seeking an accomplished graphic designer to join our talented in-house Design Studio, located above the New York galleries. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for communicating all aspects of Sotheby's auctions across printed and digital media and publications. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative designer who can deliver imaginative design solutions from concept to print and online/digital.

Responsibilities
  • Develop design concepts and visual materials that align with Sotheby's brand guidelines and creative direction.
  • Collaborate with the Design Studio team, Marketing team, and internal clients to bring projects from initial brief to completion.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with current design trends in digital and print.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other design software to create high-quality visual content.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, often to tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
  • Excellent knowledge of print production and finishing, as well as online/digital media processes.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work on different and varied projects at one time, often to tight deadlines.
