Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher K-5 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a K-5 setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain student service logs and create individualized lesson plans
  • Conduct small group and individual lessons, and provide accommodations as needed
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement inclusive lesson plans
  • Write and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
  • Monitor student progress and maintain updated service schedules and caseload lists
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 24 credit hours in a content area
  • Valid Indiana Teaching License for Grades 9-12 with SPED Endorsement
  • At least one year of experience working with students with disabilities
