Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that meet the needs of the community and align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
  • Lead a team of program staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of programs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and strategies to promote programs.
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure that programs are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets for programs and ensure that fiscal goals are met.
  • Enhance fundraising initiatives through collaboration with development staff and the CEO.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high levels of communication with program users and members.
  • Assist direct reports to develop written program plans and communications plans with members and attendees.
  • Ensure that programs are adequately staffed and have adequate supplies to maintain excellence in quality and delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5-10 years of demonstrated progressive experience in a leadership role related to program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in managing large teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and leadership skills.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to effectively solve problems.
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; customer service orientation with specific strength in diplomacy and discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Jewish culture and traditions helpful.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Software and Google Applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Jewish communal experience is an asset.
  • An ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to do a considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations.
Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary range will be based on experience and qualifications: $110,000 - $135,000.
