Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team at the Blacksburg Community Center. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group fitness classes and providing personalized training sessions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fitness classes for adults and youth
  • Provide personalized training sessions to clients
  • Assess client fitness levels and create customized workout plans
  • Ensure client safety and provide modifications for exercises as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in fitness instruction or personal training preferred
  • Certification from a recognized fitness organization required

Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. The work environment may be warm or humid at times.
