Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Buyer and Inventory Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team at Darwin's Natural Pet Products. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials for our pet food production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure all raw materials needed for pet food production, including meat, premixes, oils, and packaging, while ensuring adherence to quality standards and cost objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery of raw materials, negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts as needed.
- Evaluate supplier performance on an ongoing basis, assessing delivery reliability, product quality, and responsiveness to issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Estimated Salary: $78,000 per year.
