Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. As a Regional Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various areas of the department, including level 1 trauma designation. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, prioritizing wellness, and contributing to a safe and quality environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice
  • Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
  • Welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment
  • Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
  • PALS within 6 months of hire
  • TNCC or ATCN within 6 months of hire
  • NIHSS within 6 months of Hire
