Job Summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for the Wound Care Unit at Community Medical Center.

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical setting. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
  • Document patient information and progress
  • Participate in safety rounds and 1:1 observation to ensure a safe milieu
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited program of Practical Nursing
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • BLS certification
  • Maintains required Heart Saver CPR Certification/course completion status
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a behavioral health setting
