Job Summary:

The Virtual Care Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Providing virtual care to patients through phone, video, or messaging
  • Assessing patient symptoms and laboratory findings to identify abnormal results
  • Notifying physicians or providing treatment according to standard protocols
  • Assisting with EPIC in-basket management, including incoming and outgoing messages, test results, and medication refill requests
  • Inputting orders as needed to aid providers and clinical care teams
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of nursing experience
  • Diploma in Practical Nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with EPIC in-basket management and electronic medical records
Preferred Qualifications:

We strongly prefer candidates with:

  • Experience in clinic or primary care settings
  • Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing or Bachelor's degree in nursing
