Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide direction and guidance to nursing staff in the ambulatory care setting, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Staff Development: Orient and train new nurses, develop and implement training programs, and maintain nursing staff schedules.
- Patient Care: Establish personal rapport with patients, provide compassionate care, and ensure that all daily tasks are completed by nursing staff.
- Quality and Safety: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, support infection-control policies and protocols, and enforce medication administration and controlled substance regulations.
- Communication: Effectively communicate administrative directives to personnel, encourage interactive departmental meetings, and maintain open communication channels.
- Operations: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures regarding operations, fire, safety, and infection control, and maintain nursing supplies and equipment.
- Education and Licensure: Good standing RN License for the State of Georgia without limitations, Nursing Compact License preferred.
- Experience: 4+ years of nursing experience, 1+ years of nursing management experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS Certified.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
