Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Meadows of Ottawa. As a RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families, promoting health literacy and empowerment
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and position residents, as needed
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
