Responsibilities of Hospitalists:
1. Deliver comprehensive clinical care and services to adult patients admitted to the hospital.
2. Conduct thorough assessments and provide diagnoses and treatment plans.
3. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective healthcare for hospitalized individuals.
4. Foster strong relationships with hospital staff, primary care physicians, specialists, and ancillary providers to enhance patient care quality.
5. Analyze diagnostic imaging to support clinical decision-making.
6. Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend lifestyle modifications as necessary.
7. Refer patients to specialized care when required.
8. Perform various administrative responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
1. MD or DO degree.
2. Valid medical license to practice in Louisiana.
3. Completion of an internal medicine residency program.
