Fruit Sizing Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sizer Operator to join our team at Moonlight Companies. As a Sizer Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate fruit sizing and pack styles while maintaining a consistent workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-operation checks to ensure packing line is ready for production
- Set up packing line according to pack instructions and ensure proper wax and fungicide distribution
- Notify maintenance team of any pack line issues and submit maintenance requests
- Organize breaks and lunch periods to ensure compliance with California Labor Law
- Communicate with Packing Plant Manager to ensure proper start time for packing production
- Collaborate with Sticker Operator to ensure proper stickers are ready for packing production
- Communicate with Bin Loader to ensure all product has been completely ran through the pack line
- Communicate with Floor personnel to ensure accurate transitions of pack styles and lot changes
- Communicate with Packaging Department Lead to ensure proper box material is available
- Maintain constant communication with Floor Supervisor and QC to ensure a consistent and accurate workflow
- Enforce and encourage safe work practices and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Benefits:
- Competitive pay rate ($16.00 min - $18.50 max)/hour
