Job Summary

Cone Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist III Ambulatory Retail Specialty to join our team. As a key member of our ambulatory retail pharmacy team, this individual will provide patient care in a specialized ambulatory or community pharmacy area.

This role works under moderate supervision, collaborating with providers, pharmacy staff, and may supervise patient advocates and/or pharmacy technicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interpret and follow physician instructions accurately.

  • Supervise and evaluate pharmacy technicians
  • Precept students and residents
  • Function at a higher knowledge base and competency to address complex situations or work on project improvement initiatives

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy or BSPharm degree, six years of experience, and registration as a pharmacist in North Carolina. Additionally, a BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider and board certification in a specialty area are required.
