Position Overview:
Become a vital part of the healthcare team as a Certified Surgical Technician at Thomas Jefferson University.
As a prominent health system in the Philadelphia area, we are dedicated to enhancing patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Certified Surgical Technician, your duties will include:
- Ensuring the operating room is clean and organized.
- Preparing surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Assisting in the safe transfer and positioning of patients.
- Anticipating the needs of the surgical team during operations.
This is a Full-Time Day Shift position, requiring 40 hours per week. You will play a crucial role in delivering care in the operating room and/or ambulatory surgical center under the guidance of a registered nurse.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A High School Diploma.
- Completion of an OR Technician training program.
- BLS Certification.
- Certification as an OR Technician.
- ACT 153 Clearance.
- A minimum of one (1) year of scrub experience.
