Your Role:
We are currently looking for a Hearing Specialist to join our team in Redding, California. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the ongoing care of our service members.

As a Hearing Specialist, you will utilize your expertise in audiology to develop Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) and conduct independent medical evaluations for a unique population of military veterans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret various audiometric tests to assess hearing impairment, including air and bone conduction tests.
- Evaluate test outcomes in relation to behavioral, social, and educational factors, as well as medical history, to determine the cause of hearing loss and provide prognosis.
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen, along with performing calibration checks on audiometric equipment.
- Provide training to paraprofessional staff on audiology-specific skills and certifications.

Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience.
- Current unrestricted Audiologist license in the state of employment.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) is preferred.
