We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience ICU team at UW Health University Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care to individuals with severe neurological, neurovascular, and neurosurgical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide intensive care to patients with acute neurological deficits
- Monitor and manage ICP and hemodynamic monitoring of unstable patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in neuroscience ICU care
- 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
- Experience in ICP or ventric monitoring
- Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar-sized hospital
- Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks)
- Basic Arrhythmia experience
- Pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to starting
- Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Madison
