Job Title: Senior IT Network Engineer

Job Summary:
SpaceX is seeking an experienced Senior IT Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting large and complex wireless networks. You will also configure, install, and support campus and data center networks, as well as troubleshoot wired/wireless networking related issues.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of large and complex wireless networks
Configure, install, and support campus and data center networks
Troubleshoot wired/wireless networking related issues
Support the deployment of network access control (NAC) using 802.1X
Develop and enforce network policies and standards
Plan and prepare project roadmaps
Develop network automation tools to support our enterprise network
Monitor network health using in-house and 3rd party tools
Create and maintain proper documentation of our networks

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other STEM discipline and 5+ years of professional network engineering experience; OR 7+ years of professional network engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Expert understanding of the OSI model and network standards
Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Arista data center class switches, Cisco wireless LAN controllers, and network access control (NAC) using 802.1X
Experience with network monitoring tools, network documentation, and Linux/Windows system administration
Industry standard certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
