About the Role:

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Resident Engineer/Automotive Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction, building strong relationships with clients, and providing technical support and expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, address quality issues, and promote contracted customers' reputation.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers at plant level.
  • Representative Role: Serve as the contracted customer's representative, qualified to handle production issues, and establish credibility through fulfilled commitments.
  • Communication: Establish an open and transparent communication channel between OEM and the contracted customer.
  • Improvement Suggestion: Recommend improvements to both OEM and contracted customers.
  • Problem Analysis: Analyze problems promptly at the OEM facility to find suitable solutions and prevent claims, informing affected production plants to take corrective actions.
  • Feedback Provision: Provide continuous feedback to customers about claim status and evolution as soon as possible.
  • Customer Meetings: Participate in required meetings with customers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek ongoing feedback on customer satisfaction regarding products and services.
  • Audit and Training: Regularly audit how customers handle our products and maintain up-to-date knowledge through regular meetings and visits.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Be aware of competitors' projects or initiatives and transmit this information to the TRIGO Resident liaison Manager.
  • Reporting: Regularly report to the dedicated contracted partner's team or contact partner.
  • Prototype Support: Participate in prototype, pre-serial builds, line trials, launch support, and engineering changes at the customer site as needed.
  • Internal and External Reporting: Report to the TRIGO Country Resident Manager internally and defined contacts externally.
  • Tech Changes and Support: Involve in customer requirements concerning technical changes and provide technical support.
  • Representation: Represent contracted partners and their interests.
  • Repair and Sorting Coordination: Coordinate repair and/or sorting activities on-site, requiring written confirmation from the contracted client prior to starting any sorting or rework activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Expertise: Strong mechanical skills and ability to analyze complex situations.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present ideas effectively.
  • Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of processes and process controls.
  • Standardized Work: Identify and implement standardized work practices.
  • Audit Experience: Experience with process and product audits.
  • Shipping and Receiving Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Leadership Ability: Strong leadership skills, able to direct teams and give clear direction.
  • Automotive Sequencing: Preferred experience in automotive part sequencing.
  • Tier 1 Experience: Preferably, Tier 1 experience.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.
