">Job Summary:
">We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Critical Care Travel Nurse RN to work in our Telemetry/PCU unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to provide exceptional care to patients with complex medical needs.
">About the Position:
">This is a 13-week contract position with possible extension. You will be working 48 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts. We offer competitive pay rates, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

- 2 Years' Experience">
- Vents, IV start, Telemetry, PA Lines, Conscious Sedation, Neuro IV titration, Insulin IV experience, strong Neuro experience">
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS certification">
- Travel experience preferred">
- Previous Charge Experience preferred">
- 3 years experience preferred (will consider strong candidates without 3 years)">

Patient Types:
">We primarily see patients with pulmonary conditions, such as acute respiratory failure secondary to pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, and/or CHF exacerbation. We also care for patients with cardiac conditions, including NSTEMI/STEMI not requiring ICU level of care and/or downgrade from ICU, +/- cardiac cath, CHF/CMO requiring BIPAP/diuresis, AFIB with RVR requiring Cardizem/Amio gtt, or complete heart block awaiting AICD/Pacemaker. Additionally, we care for patients with sepsis not requiring pressors, minor trauma – hip/femur/ankle fracture s/p fall, CIWA, DKA requiring insulin gtt, and some surgical patients – surgeries typically go to MedSurg or ICU however we do see the occasional vascular surgery (arterial bypass or compartment syndrome requiring neurovascular checks) and/or post-op complications from MedSurg.
