About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Engineer to join our team at Amazon Music. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative customer experiences for our music streaming service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceive and design user experiences that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Contribute to all aspects of the agile software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
  • Communicate technical feasibility and alternative solutions to roadblocks.
  • Build and deliver production-quality user experiences that are secure, accessible, maintainable, scalable, performant, and operationally excellent.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
  • Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, complexity analysis, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
  • Experience building performant cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and GraphQL.
  • Working knowledge of iOS, Android, MacOS, Windows, Linux, and Web platforms.
