Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Ernest Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing and directing speech-language pathology services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year
  • Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) year of experience in speech-language pathology
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
