Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience as a Cook in a high-volume kitchen environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities during peak periods. They will be passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through good quality food and maintain a clean and sanitary work station area.

We are looking for motivated individuals who can contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere, assisting in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the quality of products served, adhering to standard portion sizes and cooking methods.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists, referencing Daily Prep Lists and Checklists at the start of each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saut burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a restaurant cook.
  • ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification (or willingness to attain).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds and work standing for 8+ hours.
