Senior Patient Advocate RN Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Patient Advocate RN to join our team at the Behavioral Health Senior Unit at Avera Behavioral Health Center. As a Senior Patient Advocate RN, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care and excellent patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides patient-centered care by listening actively and responding empathetically to patients' concerns and needs;
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet patients' unique needs;
  • Educates patients and families about treatment options, health education, and disease management strategies;

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice;
  • At least 2 years of experience in a direct patient care role, preferably in a psychiatric or gerontological setting.
