Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections, diagnose and repair mechanical issues, and ensure all vehicles are properly maintained.
- Diagnostic Skills: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems.
- Communication: Interact with customers and drivers to understand their concerns and provide effective solutions.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other technicians and shop management to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred.
- Experience: Four years or more relevant work experience required; ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics, or ASE Master Mechanic preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred.
