Position Overview: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to enhance the communication skills of students. This role is essential in supporting the development of students' speech and language abilities across various educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Perform evaluations to identify speech and language challenges and develop tailored therapy strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate speech and language goals into students' learning plans.
  • Case Load Management: Manage a diverse group of students with unique communication needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

For SLPA Candidates:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Current Texas SLPA license.

For Clinical Fellow Candidates:

  • Enrollment in or completion of a Master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Eligibility for Texas Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
