Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to provide updates on work performed and system status.
- Interpret engineering drawings to understand system layout, location, and operation.
- Schedule maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion and minimize downtime.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and report maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to messages from the Control Room or manager to address any issues or concerns.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, and replacement of components.
- Operate tote running equipment and attend to call-outs, faults, alarms, and warnings.
- Supervise staff, schedule tasks, and provide training to ensure a high level of maintenance expertise.
- Address stoppages and bag jams to minimize delays and ensure efficient baggage handling.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum technical experience in an industrial environment.
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate 24/7 operations.
- Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with CMMS.
- Minimum 1 year of material handling experience.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Basic knowledge of controls (PLC, PC) systems.
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (Competencies):
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and staff needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented approach.
- Proactive and strong work ethic with a willingness to grow and develop within the organization.
- Working knowledge of computers and equipment.

- Pro-active attitude towards process improvement.
Work Environment:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to various weather conditions. The noise level can be loud due to aircraft engines and equipment. The employee will work in secured baggage handling areas, repair stations, airfields, and office environments.
