We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Clerk to join our team at Lowes Foods. As a Janitorial Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our store, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
  • Ensure all areas of the store, including the sales floor, backroom, and restrooms, are clean and well-maintained.
  • Empty trash and recyclables throughout the store as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including cases, displays, and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform front-end duties as necessary to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our guests.
  • Communicate maintenance needs to store management and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and lift up to 25 pounds constantly and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to read and understand information and direction, with knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Effective communication and guest service skills, with the ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull, and endure outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
