Warehouse Coordinator

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our client's team in Fairport, NY. As a vital member of our success story, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our client's facility.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize material storage and presentation, ensuring easy access and efficient workflow.
• Follow the Kanban Card processing process by pulling, logging, and scanning parts cards for replenishment.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely replenishment of material inventory to support production needs.
• Work closely with cell employees, buyers, and inventory controllers to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues within the cell.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address inventory-related challenges.
• Initiate requests for inventory adjustments, fabricated work orders, and/or purchase orders as needed to ensure the accuracy and availability of parts.
• Review and dispose of aged non-Kanban inventory according to established guidelines and procedures.

• H.S. Diploma, required
• Prior experience with purchase orders, work orders, material inventory control in a manufacturing setting, required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
• Prior Oracle ERP experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
