About the Role

As a Nurturing Substitute Teacher with our Keller Independent School District, you will play a vital role in providing educational support to young children. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to the success of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care, adhering to schedules and routines to ensure enough physical activity, rest, and playtime.
  • Teach daily lessons in accordance with child care curriculum and individual child's needs, keeping records of children's progress, routines, and interests.
  • Prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for children, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to cleanliness and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma; training or coursework in infant, toddler, and/or early childhood care preferred.
  • Experience/knowledge in child care setting, with ability to work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress, and perform heavy lifting up to 50-80 pounds unassisted.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $58,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
