Rough Framing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Rough Framing Carpenter to join our team at Trinity Custom Homes in Sarasota, FL. As a key player in our building process, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of our custom homes, ensuring precision and quality in every element.

• Construct floors, walls, and roofs, handling tasks such as layout, truss installation, and more.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints to frame interior walls and ceilings with accuracy and skill.
• Use rise and run calculations and precise measurements to ensure structural integrity in every element.
• Install components such as foam, furring, and other elements, keeping each structure compliant with Florida's building codes.
• Work safely and maintain a clean job site, collaborating with your team to address any safety concerns immediately.

• At least 3 years of experience in rough framing for residential construction.
• Proficiency with tools and techniques for framing, as well as a solid understanding of safety practices.
• A knack for reading blueprints and handling framing geometry.
• Physical endurance to work outdoors in Florida's warm, humid climate for 8-12 hours a day.
• Strength and stamina to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently.
• Common sense approach to safety, following best practices and looking out for your team.
• Focus on efficiency and improvement, bringing a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
• Teamwork skills and an independent work ethic.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
