Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Peabody Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to ensure exceptional service.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Operate dishwashing machine and ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Sort, stack, and store cleaned wares in designated areas.
  • Handle all wares carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Report any damage, maintenance problems, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of job-related English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Ability to follow directions and adapt to meet priority changes of workflow or requirements.
  • Ability to operate designated machinery and satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers in a courteous, empathetic, and discreet manner.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance and adhere to Peabody grooming standards.
