Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

Innova Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and sort clinical lab specimens in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information with high accuracy.
  • Perform minor instrumentation maintenance to ensure lab equipment is functioning properly.
  • Troubleshoot any specimen-related issues that may arise.
  • Replenish test bench supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked laboratory.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested by management.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous medical/lab or production experience is preferred.
  • Comfortability with handling biological specimens is essential.
  • Ability to accurately identify specimens and maintain attention to detail.
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills are necessary.
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Pay Range and Benefits:

Innova Solutions offers a competitive pay range of $17 - $18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
