Surgical Technician/ L&D Specialist

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Emory Midtown Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and nurses with patient care, equipment preparation, and aseptic technique in the operating room.
- Prepare the operating room for surgery by assembling routine supplies, materials, instruments, and equipment.
- Operate sterilization equipment for the proper sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Maintain inventory of sterile surgical supplies to ensure immediate availability.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a surgical technician training program or equivalent job training.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
