Job Description

This position requires a skilled Oncology Nurse to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing patient care by organizing, delegating, and evaluating ongoing tasks
  • Utilizing nursing education and experience to deliver evidence-based care according to hospital policies and protocols
  • Collaborating with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
  • Fostering a learning environment for patients, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Advanced certification in Oncology Nursing (e.g., OCN) or willingness to obtain within six months
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required; ACLS or NALS/NRP certifications preferred
