Job Overview

The Red Lion Inn is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our linens and laundry facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laundry Operations
    • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, including tablecloths, napkins, sheets, pillowcases, towels, robes, blankets, and bedspreads.
    • Ensure all linens are clean, pressed, and stored in a neat and organized manner.
  • Housekeeping Support
    • Assist housekeeping staff with tasks such as restocking linens, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
    • Participate in deep cleaning projects and special events as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues, responding promptly to requests and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and reach above shoulder level.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities.

Working Conditions
