POSITION DETAILS:

BASE PAY: $20.45 per hour

WORK SCHEDULE: Night Shift - 12-hour rotation (including weekends)

WORKING HOURS: 5:45 PM to 6 AM.

ROLE SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Flavoring Technician is tasked with applying seasonings to products according to established standards while ensuring a seamless flow of goods to the packaging lines. Key responsibilities include making minor machinery adjustments to achieve optimal product and seasoning flow, troubleshooting, performing maintenance on equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Consistently adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Safety Regulations. Ensures the seasoning machine is stocked with the correct seasoning levels. Identifies and resolves issues with seasoning equipment. Properly assembles and disassembles seasoning line machinery. Conducts line clean-ups and changeovers. Executes chemical, Kosher, and allergen cleaning procedures. Completes seasoning setup tasks. Maintains documentation for monitoring the seasoning process. Performs minor adjustments and maintenance on all machinery. Retrieves necessary supplies from the warehouse to adequately stock production lines. Collaborates with R&D in testing new seasonings and conducting trials. Operates case erectors. Ensures sanitation of scales and drums. Calibrates load cells for precise seasoning application. Verifies that products meet QA specifications and makes adjustments as needed. May conduct seasoning checks on finished products. Performs verification on level sensors using calibration tools. Checks no-seasoning laser sensors. Assists with scale calibration. Utilizes operator interface panels for seasoning drop tests, adjusting settings, and operating machinery. Troubleshoots and implements corrective actions for seasoning-related issues. Communicates effectively with Packaging Lead and Quality Assurance regarding relevant matters, with other team members for training and information, with Maintenance for equipment issues, and with the warehouse for supply needs. May perform additional duties as required.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of production experience in a manufacturing setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting pay for this full-time, hourly position is $20.45.

Individual base pay may vary based on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
