Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Best Western. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain various public areas inside of the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, and common areas.
- Deliver amenities and requested items to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Facilitate the cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
- Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms according to our high standards, including vacuuming carpet, polishing mirrors, and cleaning sink, toilet, tub, and shower walls.
- Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the hotel's facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
