Your Impact
As a Healthcare Advocate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by interacting with patients, management, and staff to identify and resolve grievances. Your insights will contribute to the improvement of patient care systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Document, investigate, and resolve patient grievances effectively.
- Collaborate with the risk management team for complaints that may involve litigation.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
- Assist leadership in analyzing issues related to current practices.
- Educate staff on advocacy policies and practices.
- Facilitate discussions between management and medical staff to address advocacy concerns.
- Conduct rounds on hospital units to engage with patients and staff.

Qualifications
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
- Required: 3 years in healthcare or customer service, or 1 year in patient advocacy.

Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in computer applications and software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Investigative and analytical skills to resolve grievances.

Physical Demands
This role may require light physical activity, including lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
