We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team at Friendship Village. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of assigned Independent Living, resident rooms, and common areas.
Key Responsibilities- Housekeeping Duties: Provide basic housekeeping services including changing linens, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging rooms after guests check out.
- Reporting and Maintenance: Report and return any guest properties found in rooms, report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to supervisor, and maintain a positive relationship with employees and residents.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean, disinfect, and store all equipment at the end of the shift, monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies, and respond to calls for housekeeping problems.
- Laundry Management: Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing, and sorting linen.
- Lost and Found: Report, turn in, and log all lost and found items.
- Additional Responsibilities: Clean upholstered furniture and perform detailed deep cleans when required.
- A strong positive attitude toward customer service.
- A genuine interest in geriatric care and the ability to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents.
- The ability to strive to do the best job possible, be creative, and work towards accomplishing facility goals.
