About the Role

Olympik Tots Daycare & Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team as an Assistant Teacher. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with children of various ages, from infants to school-age, and contribute to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing educational activities and programs for children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve educational goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements
  • Two years of experience working with children
  • CDA, Education College Credits, or minimum AA in Early Childhood Education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and walk 0.5 miles with ease
  • Clearances: Background Check, FBI, Child Abuse, National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR)
  • Health Assessment with TB Test
  • Two written non-family references
  • Employment Verification
Work Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • Ability to be flexible with selected times: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM, 1:30 PM - 6:00 PM, or 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • 1 hour lunch (30 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid)
