We are seeking a skilled Yard Jockey to join our team at US 1 Shorthaul. As a Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for safely moving trailers in and out of the dock, performing yard audits, and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Move trailers in and out of the dock using yard goats
- Perform drop and hook operations
- Conduct accurate yard audits at the end of each shift
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and submit reports on truck conditions
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
- 12 months of over-the-road or trailer spotting experience in the last 3 years
- Minimum MVR requirements met
- No preventable DOT accidents within the past 3 years
- No application falsifications or gaps in employment
- Pass a pre-hire background and drug test

Work Environment:This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a night shift schedule. Hours worked over 40 hours in a week qualify for overtime pay.
