We are seeking a skilled AW139 Aircraft Maintenance Technician III to join our team at LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions. This role is essential in providing comprehensive on-site maintenance and operational support for rotary wing aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct full maintenance and functional check flight operations for the MH-139/AW-139 aircraft.
- Perform aviation maintenance and repair services, ensuring the operational readiness of aircraft and associated systems.
- Interpret and apply technical data, publications, and directives effectively.
- Manage all aspects of aircraft launch and recovery, including unscheduled maintenance tasks.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults to maintain aircraft safety and performance.
- Oversee documentation related to pilot and crew member flight records, HAZMAT, safety protocols, and scheduling.
- Adhere to all regulatory, customer, and contractual obligations.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by management.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Licenses: FAA A&P license is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience with AW aircraft is preferred; candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
Work EnvironmentWe maintain a drug-free workplace and conduct substance abuse testing post-offer and pre-employment.
Physical RequirementsThe successful candidate must be able to:
- Walk and stand on various surfaces for extended periods.
- Climb stairs, ramps, and ladders, and work at heights with appropriate safety measures.
- Crouch, crawl, and manipulate objects with dexterity.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and carry items over short distances.
- Read gauges and identify small objects and tools.
- Communicate effectively and detect sounds accurately.
- Distinguish colors and judge depth perception.
- Operate various power vehicles and ground support equipment.
