Ambulance Operator

County of San Bernardino, CA is seeking a skilled Ambulance Operator to join our team. As an Ambulance Operator, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.
Job Summary:The Ambulance Operator will work in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency calls and providing medical care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency medical procedures and be able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:- Provide emergency medical care to patients in need
- Operate an ambulance to transport patients to medical facilities
- Work with emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics to provide medical care
- Communicate with patients, families, and medical staff to provide information and support
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and transportation
- Valid California Paramedic License or Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) Certification
- Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) card
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) card
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
