We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practical Nursing Clinical Instructor to join our team at Western Dakota Tech. As a clinical instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of nursing professionals.

About the Role

This part-time temporary position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, evaluating student performance, and maintaining accurate records.

Salary: $27.35-$31.92 per workload hour, plus $125 stipend per credit hour (dependent on educational degree)

Location: Rapid City, SD

Responsibilities
  • Deliver lecture/lab instruction material at all levels of training
  • Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Participate in program assessment activities
  • Support school policies and procedures
Qualifications

A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited university or college and a minimum of one year of clinical experience in the area or areas of teaching responsibility. SD Registered Nursing license and driver's license required.

OR An equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the work and discipline area.
